Do You Need a Life to Do Project Life?

Really...do you?  Because so far, I am realizing my life during winter is far too depleted of dancing men and cabana boys.  Sigh.  Pretty mundane.  Need proof?  Well, when broken down, today consisted of three hours of shoveling snow, a bit over one hour driving through snow and approximately twelve hours of wishing and praying for a snow day.  Exciting, right?  Not really.  Anyway...here is my Project Life layouts for week one.  As usual, I am a step behind, but I keep on keeping on and that is all that matters.  At least that is what I tell myself. Summer will definitely be more exciting when I bring out the cabana boys.  The hiring process begins soon.  Mmmmm.

I will admit I have no clue if I am even doing this as Becky intended the project to go.  I read up on it minimally, but oh well.  I just want to show my life and that is how I am doing it.  It's for me and whoever gets a hold of my album after I am gone won't have a clue who Becky Higgins is or was and wouldn't care in the least anyway.  Sorry Becky.  Most people think scrappers are weirdos that like to sniff paper and glue.  The proverbial paste eating nerds from elementary school.  They're absolutely wrong.  That is for sure, but there is no way to change their cro-magnon man way of thinking.  My apologies to my family.  HA!  ;o)

Thanks for stopping by!

I love these! I also think it is great that you are keeping up on this. I would not worry one bit about doing it according to the rules or whatever. I dont 'have the patience to read through all the rules/directions so I always do things my way. And I understand about winter being boring. I just realized I took 2 pictures in January! And I love taking pictures.

I'm with you on the lack of photo ops, and well, LIFE in the winter. UGH. But I am loving your projects!!! Soon spring will arrive and we can come out of hibernation. Oh, and good luck on the cabana boys!

You are to funny, Denise!
I am the same way in the winter with photos.
Especially January!
But I think you are doing a good job with your Project life! I wouldn't worry about how Becky does it :)

Thank you for making me smile today! I got sidetracked and didn't get over to check them out last night. I think you're doing a marvelous job and shouldn't be in the least concerned whether you're doing it the way it "should" be done. Actually what you're doing is how YOU should be doing it. Make sense? You are going to have one awesome collection by the end.

Oh, and I spy butterflies. ;)

I love it! I think that once you get it who cares if it does not fit what "Becky" would do. It is yours! I just have to say again, I love it!

I like, I like, I like it! and I envy, I envy, I envy the project Life album you have started, not the 3-hr of shoveling snow??! We had a pretty 60s temp, cloudy skies here, but my sister in NJ was complaining to me about winter/snow days. Oh,well? Mwah to yah, Denise!
