BASB Challenge: What do you mean only one piece of pattern paper?

Ki's Challenge at BASB is now posted. This is one doozy of a challenge. She wants everyone to limit themselve to one piece of pattern paper. As if that is even possible...I think not. Well, it turns out it is AND it is a challenge. I am a simple scrapper and I was stumped for a few days. Yikes. The above is what I came up with. I used one piece - front and back. I trimmed about 2 inches off the bottom and used the reverse side to cover the Maya Roads chipboard circles. Then to gain back the height I sewed on a strip of brown felt. I feel as if I cheated by adding the felt, but you know when it comes down to it I am not too torn up about it. LOL! Anyway, it's a great challenge and there is an awesome prize. Check out the link above and join in, if you can.

Your LO turned out great! I always check out those challenges with the best intentions, but don't get to them. So - what if your patterned paper is double sided...hmmmm...that would probably be cheating right?? LOL!!
